Idol Rejects

Is it me or is Fox really dragging out the auditions of this year's rejects? Sherri and I were talking about it last night as we endured the 2-hour show. Our favorite episode so far this year was the one from Memphis that was compacted into just 1 hour.

What I wanted to comment on here was the emotional state of some of these contestants. The desperation of some of these people is a little frightening. It is as if their lives have no meaning if they don't go to Hollywood. Some seemed downright suicidal. I know I am stating the obvious here...but they need to hear the message of Jesus Christ and find true meaning and purpose in Him. Who is sharing that message with them? Am I doing all that I can to share the good news with this emerging generation?
